Yesterday was the Sulphur Marching Festival. We all went to watch Tristan march.
Bringing the band onto the field and calling them to attention.
The band did a good job, but they were no match for some of the other 3A and 4A bands that came from Lafayette and Bossier City. Those bands were huge and amazing.
A wall of sound that we could not compare to!
The Drum Majors, Auxiliary, and Band all received Superior ratings and the Drum Line Scored an Excellent.
The band also received a special award for being the highest scoring band in
District V in Southwest Louisiana.
We were so excited though, that Tristan and Amanda received Best in Class and Best in Show Drum Majors!! They really are so sharp and have done an amazing job all season!
