Today was our third swim meet.
We swam against Lake Charles Country Club and Sulphur.
Ethan taking off in the 25 Free!
He swam the fastest race of his life and got a time of 18.91,
almost two whole seconds faster than last time. He ended up placing Fourth.
Tristan swam the 50 Breaststroke in 41.43, a little bit slower than his personal best,
but good enough for a Third Place finish!
Ethan swam in the 100 Medley Relay again, but this time they switched him to the Backstroke.
~ Ethan and that old man, Aden, who swam the Fly ~
"Swimmers in the water."
"Go, Ethan!! Swim fast!!" Their B Relay Team placed second with a time of 1:30.83.
Tristan swam in the 200 Medley Relay, on the A Relay, Butterfly stroke.
They placed First with a time of 2:23.64.
Tristan with some of his friends, Gavin, Phillip, Kyle, and Mason.
They were all on his relay except for Gavin. I think he was on the B Relay Team.
Ethan swam Backstroke again. Of course, it's one of his favorites!
He did awesome, but was unable to take any time off his best, swimming a little under a second slower.
He placed second though, with a time of 25.36.
Ethan swam the Butterfly for third place with a personal best time of 24.72, taking off a second and a half from his previous time. Here he is lined up, second from the right, and taking off.
Butterfly is quickly becoming a very close second favorite behind the Backstroke for Ethan. He loves it!
Ethan with his friend, James.
Loving their "cap hair."
Ethan with his Freestyle Relay team, John Robert, Ali-Mae, and Erin.
They swam a 100 Free Lagniappe Relay and placed first with a time of 1:23.80.
Tristan also swam a Freestyle Relay, but I am unsure of their time or place.
Tristan swam the 50 Free with a personal best time of 27.18, placing second.
He also swam the 50 Fly in 35.31, placing first.
Swimmers draw and write all over their bodies for swim meets.
I loved this Marlin on Eli's back! I can ever convince my boys to decorate themselves up!
Three down and one to go. Next Saturday is the Championship Meet
and the End of Season Party and Awards Ceremony.
It has been a busy, but a very fun swim season.
